Jon is a CEO, leader, creative director and writer. In 1996, he created other, the advertising agency and creative consultancy which has grown to become a £multimillion company with a shelf full of international awards: other won Advertising/Design Agency of the Year at the International Business Awards 2015 and People’s Choice Agency of the Year in 2016. Clients include Unilever, JLL, Godiva, Octopus Energy, Museum of London, National Youth Orchestra, Mansion, and Freedom from Torture.

He has a reputation as an expert in digital, particularly in video, and created Phosphorus, a pioneer of the future of interactive video and TV which has produced world-leading projects for clients such as Nestle, Nokia, Sony, and Procter & Gamble. He has won awards in digital media, TV, video, radio, press, print, direct, design and business.

As a recognised leader in the communications and creative sector, he has been a chair of Judges for the International Business Awards as well as judging awards such as D&AD, IMAA, DMA and more. He has lectured at Leeds University (advertising course), Falmouth University (advertising course) and Queen Mary College (MBA course). He has chaired major conferences on the future of digital media and television in London and New York, and helped shape the current EU Television Without Frontiers directive which controls TV regulation across the European Free Trade Area and the EU.
