Charlie Greenwood

Charlie has had “proper” jobs with Reuters (everything from selling content into Dot.coms in 2000 in Silicon Valley to making Goldman Sachs’ trading floor in New York work), Nike (running strategic planning in the UK) and AEG (as Director of Digital across Europe). I then launched a startup which was all about creating “insider” content with athletes (I still maintain we were right, just about 10 years too early!). The last few years have been spent consulting with major sponsors (eg reviewing Vauxhall’s sponsorship strategy and developing Puma’s football marketing approach), helping some of the leading agencies (H&K, M&C Saatchi, We are Fearless) and advising on digital / content strategies for major sports organisations (eg The FA, Rugby Premiership, British Tennis).
He now spends most of his time working extensively with Venture Capital firms, accelerator programmes, high potential tech startups and major sports organisations to identify the best emerging technologies and bring them into the sports / entrainment and media industry - the rest is spent trying to convince his two young sons to support Wolves, whilst growing up in SW London and surrounded by Chelsea fans.
