Darren Whittingham is Start's co-founder and Group CCO. Since 1996 he had been influential in growing the business into one of Britain’s top ten independent brand experiences design consultancy’s. As CCO, he has overall responsibility for brand and experience design across the business’s UK and international client base. Darren sets the highest standards at Start and strongly believes investing in best in class talent, unlocks the power of imagination and creativity - the bedrock of brilliance in design and technology – and the keys to successful business transformation.
He has led many brand transformation programs, including adidas, ADCB, Air Asia, Barclays, Bentley, Cunard, Essar, Dubai Airports, Qatar Airways, Hamad International, Virgin Group, Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Mobile and Virgin Media and Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. His accomplishments also include helping create The Elders branded initiative for Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu and Mary Robinson.
