Michael Olaye is the CEO of Dare, a digital creative agency with hub offices in London, Bristol and New York. Dare is part of the world’s fastest growing marcomms company: Inside Ideas Group.
Michael leads Inside Ideas Group’s entire tech vision, responsible for its technical collaboration, industry thought leadership and advanced technology incubations. Away from the office, he’s also a keen Capoeirista.
He’s a regular guest speaker and judge for the likes of Creativepool, The Drum and Campaign; and an advisor to tech start-ups and a yet-to-be-announced cryptocurrency company. Michael has also been named one of The Drum’s 100 most influential people in UK digital, and one of Creativepool’s top 100 influencers. (It must be stressed that neither of these accolades were secured thanks to his Capoeira prowess.)
Providing mentorship to talent across marketing, advertising and technology, he also supports the industry at a grassroots level. Michael assists at the School of Arts & Communications 2.0, working with up-and-coming industry talent; and helps local communities in the London boroughs through the Future First Alumni programme, both as a supporter and guest speaker.
Ultimately, Michael’s mission is to make technology not just seamless, but invisible in our everyday lives.
