Toby is Global CEO of Forsman & Bodenfors, a global creative collective with 700 people across 7 offices, working with clients like VOLVO, Oatly, H&M Group, Goldman Sachs and P&G.
Toby’s career focus is the development of new models and new approaches to clients’ marketing and communications challenges. Prior to Forsman & Bodenfors, he spent 4 years as Global Chief Growth Officer at McCann Worldgroup. He led the strategic growth function, ran the European Business Leadership Community, and helped to create and launch the MW Presents global content platform. He worked closely with clients including L'Oreal, The Coca-Cola Company, RB, Nestle, eBay and ExxonMobil, advising clients at the intersection of business and brand strategy.
Before joining Worldgroup, Toby spent 10 years at WPP’s brand consulting unit, Brand Union. Working across the group to develop and deliver WPP’s ‘horizontality’ strategy, Toby helped construct and launch integrated teams for clients including Vodafone, Dell, DuPont, Bank of America, Shell, GSK and IAG. He ultimately became WPP’s youngest network CEO and led Brand Union to its first major successes at Cannes and the Effies.
He has particular expertise in complex multi-stakeholder environments, with corporate M&A and divestments, and in highly regulated industries.
